Definition
The five statements of the evangelical faith which distinguished the Reformers from the teachings of Rome include sola scriptura (Scripture alone), solus Christus (Christ alone), sola fide (faith alone), sola gratia (grace alone), and soli Deo gloria (glory to God alone).
