Definition

Theological treatise by Thomas Aquinas written years 1259 to 1264 AD. In challenging pantheistic philosophy with an orderly summary of faith, Thomas Aquinas's apologetic distinguished the twofold order of religious truths: supernatural, or revealed, truth (faith), and natural, or demonstrated truth (science).
