Definition
A term used in the Pastoral Epistles to describe teaching that is healthy and correct, specifically that which accords with the words of Jesus Christ and leads to a life of godliness. It is contrasted with teaching that is contrary to moral living or characterized by human cunning and deceitful schemes.
