Definition

The office of Christ as the supreme messenger and teacher who perfectly reveals God and his word. As the Great Prophet, Jesus fulfills the Old Testament prophetic role by speaking with divine authority, representing God to the people, and delivering a new covenant. Unlike previous prophets like Moses, Jesus is God incarnate, possessing absolute power over creation and offering eternal salvation rather than merely physical deliverance.
