A theology emphasizing event, becoming, and relatedness over substance and being, holding that change is the only absolute and that God is constantly changing.

Definition
Any theology which emphasizes event, becoming, and relatedness as basic categories for its understanding rather than those of substance and being. In process theology the only absolute that exists in the world is change, therefore God too is constantly changing.
