omnipresence

The doctrine that God is present at every point of space with his whole being.

Definition

The doctrine that God does not have size or spatial dimensions and is present at every point of space with his whole being, yet acts differently in different places. While God is present everywhere, he can be present specifically to punish, sustain, or bless. Scripture indicates that even the highest heavens cannot contain him, and he does not dwell in houses made by human hands.
