Definition
New Covenant, the second division of the Bible comprising of 27 books written originally in Greek. It records the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Messiah and His teachings and the teachings of His apostles. It is generally divided into five sections: the four Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, Pauline Epistles, Pastoral or General Epistles, and Revelation.
