Definition
A handbook (c. 150) also known as The Teaching of the Twelve Apostles, catalogued with the Apostolic Fathers. It provides an early snapshot of church worship, consisting of a moral treatise on the 'two ways' (life and death) and instructions on baptism, prayer, fasting, the Lord’s Supper, and church officials.
