Definition

A variation of dispensationalism that has a dualistic conception of redemption linked to God's pursuit of two different purposes, one related to heaven and the other earth, and tied to two different groups of people: a heavenly humanity (redeemed people who passed away in prior dispensations) and an earthly humanity (people who are alive when the millennial dispensation begins).
